The Winter Percussion ensemble is a musical ensemble consisting of only percussion instruments. Shows are similar in design to marching band shows, but the ensemble is formed exclusively of percussion instruments and performs inside of gyms or event centers. Music is written exclusively for this ensemble and allows all the members to be showcased on a variety of percussion instruments. The ensemble competes during the second semester and is an audition for only ensemble. Audition information becomes available in late October/early November
